Note how Chris measures and documents (complete with before-and-after frequency response and distortion graphs!) several modifications including:

	Preamp and Tone Circuit Bypass Switch
	Open-loop Performance (Elimination of Negative Feedback)
	Conversion from Pentode to Triode Output (significantly less power, but also lower distortion)
	Additional Bias Adjustment potentiometers
	Noble precision Volume control potentiometer
